Body Rituals

Rituals play a crucial role in enriching everyday experiences, reinforcing spiritual values, and fostering deeper connections with your Self and body.

Body and Skin

Connecting with your body isn’t all internal work. The way we care for our physical vessel also reflects how we feel about ourselves. Taking the time and effort to tend to the skin we are in can help to contribute towards a greater sense of love and connection with our body. You don’t have to do all of these practices at the same time. Sometimes it can be nice to light a candle, turn on some jazz music, and oil your body slowly and with intention in front of a mirror. Other times, it may be nice to spend a little more time. Always check in with what your body needs in the moment.

Items recommended for this workshop: Dry Body Brush, Sweet Almond Body Oil, Gua Sha.

Hair and Face

These rituals can be completed all together or individually, depending on how much love and attention you’re needing. If you don’t have all the tools, don’t worry. Use what you have available to you. You can use your hands if you don’t have a facial gua sha and your normal serums for this ritual. Don’t overcomplicate it. At the core of the ritual is mindful connection with your body.
